What Our Lawn Care
Program Includes

Our lawn care program includes 6 visits (minimum) to address what your lawn needs at key times of the year.

In addition to these, lime and gypsum applications would be additional visits and may be needed if your lawn’s pH is unbalanced. We also recommend aeration and over-seeding, two additional lawn care services that will help achieve the lush green lawn you’re after.

Early Spring

High nitrogen fertilizer and pre-emergent crabgrass control

Late Spring

Second fertilizer application, with less nitrogen (focused on balancing fertility) along with a second application of crabgrass control

Summer

Post-emergent weed control and grub control (if needed)

Late Summer

Post-emergent crabgrass control for any breakthrough

Early Fall

Fertilizer with the addition of iron and additional post-emergent crabgrass control

Late Fall

A final balancing of the fertilizer to prepare for winter and additional weed control to prevent winter weeds

Other Lawn Care Options

There’s more ways to take care of a lawn than the typical methods.

In addition to conventional lawn care, we also offer organic lawn care, aeration, and over-seeding services.

Organic Lawn Care

At Majestic Lawn Care & Landscape, we offer an Organic Lawn Care program for properties throughout Rockland County that works with what’s beneath the surface. Conventional fertilizers aren’t the only way to make your grass green. If you’re looking for a different approach to lawn carethen you may be looking for organic lawn care.

Aeration & Overseeding

Is your lawn getting thin, turning brown or developing spots that just don’t look as good as they should? Over time, most soil becomes compacted or hard, and your turf has trouble filling in those thin and browning spots. If any of this sounds familiar, aeration and overseeding might just be what you need.

Organic Lawn Care

At Majestic Lawn Care & Landscape, our organic lawn care in Rockland County works with what’s beneath the surface, where a healthy lawn begins. Your lawn’s performance depends on the health of your soil, and naturally healthy soil is rich in beneficial microorganisms like bacteria and fungi that help your grass absorb essential nutrients.

Our Organic Lawn Care program helps improve soil health with all-natural organic fertilizers and soil supplements that support beneficial soil biology. Organic lawn fertilizer works with nature by feeding the soil, allowing the soil to nourish your grass and promote a thicker, greener, healthier lawn.

All-Natural Premium Organic Fertilizer

Our program includes three applications of All-Natural Premium Organic Fertilizer. We also use soil amendments like lime, gypsum, and soil conditioner when needed. Compost Tea can also be added to the program to introduce beneficial microorganisms and support healthy soil biology.

Combined with our other lawn care services, these treatments improve soil health and give your grass what it needs to grow naturally. Healthier soil can also help your lawn stand up to weeds, disease, pests, drought, and other stresses throughout the growing season.

With our Organic Lawn Care program, we focus on improving the soil beneath your lawn so your grass can develop stronger roots and thicker, healthier growth.

Aeration & Overseeding

Is your lawn looking thin, patchy, or struggling to grow? Lawn aeration and overseeding can help restore thicker, healthier grass by improving the soil and encouraging new growth.

Over time, soil becomes compacted and thatch can build up, making it harder for air, water, and fertilizer to reach the roots. Core aeration removes small plugs of soil and thatch to relieve compaction and give your lawn’s root system more room to grow. The result is stronger roots and a healthier lawn that can make better use of water and nutrients.

Following aeration with lawn overseeding helps fill in thin or bare areas and can introduce hardier, more drought-resistant grass varieties. The holes created during aeration also provide better seed-to-soil contact, helping new grass seed establish more successfully.

For lawns with heavily compacted or clay soil, we may also recommend a gypsum application to further reduce compaction and help make nutrients more available.

After overseeding, newly seeded areas should be kept moist with regular watering until the new grass is established.

Lawn Care FAQs

Our lawn care program includes a minimum of six visits throughout the year. Each visit is timed around the growing season and what your lawn needs at that point, from fertilization and crabgrass control to weed control and preparing your lawn for winter.

Fall is typically an ideal time for lawn aeration and overseeding in Rockland County. Cooler temperatures provide better conditions for new grass seed to establish while aeration helps relieve compacted soil and allows water, air, and nutrients to reach the roots.

Yes. Weed and crabgrass control are important parts of our lawn care program. Treatments are applied at the appropriate times of year to prevent crabgrass when possible and control weeds that have already emerged.

Every lawn is different. Its current condition, soil health, weeds, grass type, weather, and other factors can all affect results. Some improvements may become noticeable relatively quickly, while lawns with more significant problems may require multiple treatments or a full growing season.

We provide lawn care throughout Rockland County, NY, including New City, Nyack, West Nyack, Clarkstown, Pearl River, and Suffern.
