Aeration & Overseeding
Is your lawn looking thin, patchy, or struggling to grow? Lawn aeration and overseeding can help restore thicker, healthier grass by improving the soil and encouraging new growth.
Core aeration pulls small plugs of soil so air, water, and fertilizer reach the roots. Rockland County clay compacts fast, and aeration is the single best fix. We can apply gypsum at the same visit when your soil needs it.
Overseeding thickens thin areas and can introduce a more drought-tolerant grass. A thick lawn crowds out weeds on its own. Water new seed about 20 minutes a day until it’s established.
Dethatching removes the spongy layer that blocks water and fertilizer once it passes half an inch. We check first and only recommend it when your lawn needs it.
